The Old Station is made up of three revamped train carriages - a quirky way to spend your nights in Derbyshire
This old train is not interconnected, and all were built in Derby during the 1960s. They are all exceptionally well equipped for self-catering, offering central heating, an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV, DVD and a shower - all you need for a weekend break.
You can hire out a self-contained carriage which sleeps up to six for just over £200 for a three-night stay. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. Clothes washing and drying facilities are freely available in the ‘Staff Tool Van.’
There are two acres of grounds providing space for activities, and the carriages even come with a BBQ, picnic table, bicycles and toys. Don't fancy cooking? Then check out the 50s American Diner in the city.
Prices range from £82-220 and are available seasonally.
