You’ll find Burnham Deepdale hidden away on the North Norfolk Coastline. Just a mile walk down to the beach and you and your friends can have the perfect summer evening around the campfire, toasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars. But the best bit? You get a full size double bed at the end of the night in your very own yurt or tepee.
It’s an alternative to camping like no other, think of it as camping for the upper-class but at a very reasonable price. Short stays start from just £50 and can accommodate up to eight people per pitch. There are even unique, purpose-built shepherd huts if you prefer more solid surroundings filled with cosy furnishings. The huts’ offer a great alternative for all-year-round accommodation; great for a romantic weekend or a girly get-away.
The nearby Deepdale pubs and cafés offer breakfast, lunch and evening meals. There is even a restaurant yurt nearby if you want to keep up the tepee theme throughout your stay. Enjoy an evening meal, a traditional Sunday lunch or a quick bite from the new tapas menu, as you dine by candle-light around the glowing wood-burner. In summer months, an afternoon barbecue option is also available; just perfect for a sunny afternoon on a beautiful stretch of the UK coastline.
Although you’re in the heart of rural Norfolk, transport is not an issue. The Coasthopper (stops at our recommended Wiveton Hall cafe) bus route runs regularly from the typical British seaside town of Cromer through to the market town of Kings Lynn; connecting you to the main train lines and bus stations in the county. There’s also an on-site bike hire available to help you explore the local area.
If you’re looking for a party environment, Deepdale is probably not the place for you, but if it’s a chilled out stay you’re after, then get booking now, as this unique campsite is snapped up quick!

"The North Norfolk Coast has a little bit of something for everyone. Great coastline and beaches for kite surfing, sailing, and kayaking. There is also amazing wildlife and beautiful walks, wonderful food in the local restaurants and gastro-pubs and a microbrewery within fifteen minutes walk from the site. At Deepdale you can choose to stay in our private en-suite self catering hostel, one of our Teepee's, Yurt's, or Shepherd's Huts, or get back to basics and bring your own tent. We have something to fit every budget in an area of outstanding natural beauty."
