We are always looking for unusual things to do and we've found this! Pennikkity is a cafe where you can paint your own ceramics which makes for a unique gift. Situated in the heart of Ipswich, it's open everyday, yes seven days a week. So no matter what day you visit Ipswich, you can always pop in for a painting session.
With no need to book, you can walk in and pay from about fiver to enjoy the stamps and stencils available to inspire your creations. However, you best be around for a week as it takes a week to glaze and fire them up for the final result.
Birthdays and groups are more than welcome with food going from £3.50 a head. If you know anyone planning a hen do, this could be an activity on your list of things to do. Be sure to take a look at our advised place to stay, the Villa Melagrano (read our review here) if you're in search of a place to lay your head after a day full of painting.
