Voted the best small attraction in the whole of the South West of England, Exmoor Zoo is a great place to spend your day where you can get up close and personal with different types of wildlife.
Exmoor Zoo began in 1993 and is different from your typical zoo. The centre gives you the opportunity to hold and even feed the animals from spiders to otters, to wallabies and cheetahs.
If meeting the animals isn't your sort of thing then why not join many of the talks where the professionals can teach you about each animal.
The centre is open 362 days a year at 10 am and closes at 6 pm in the summer and 4 pm in the winter.
Entry is £1 in the summer and £10 in winter for adults from the ages of 16-65.
